A Bulldog, in 27 seconds.
“Beauty and Gentility”, according to our friend Dawn (who asked for this drawing, not coincidentally), are the qualities for which the English Bulldog is bred. We here at Fastest Possible Drawings recognize that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but isn’t this little chap just gorgeous, hilarious, and wonderful (no matter how quickly he is drawn)? Our friend here is on the “husky” side of “fat”, but that is the kind of Renaissance beauty we were going for. Polite, to be sure, but given the recent heat wave, our gentleman here is doing some seemingly-uncouth tongue-cooling. This should, however, not suggest that he is anything less than the well-mannered, truly-genteel best friend that he is reputed to be.
We will admit that this particular bulldog is somewhat strong-willed (a common character trait), as the placement of his head might suggest. In this situation, you might imagine him in the park, as you are waiting to return home. Though he has enjoyed a short and lazy run with his colleagues, he feels you should tarry a bit. City life is a blur, but the Fastest Possible Bulldog is a slow-life kind of fellow: chopped meat, short tails, cigars by the pool, the occasional run-in with a bull. We should all learn from our friend here to take our time and let our tongues hang out; the Fastest Possible Life, he reminds us, doesn’t excuse us of our collective responsibility to be—at all times—both beautiful and genteel.
This Reasonably Fast Bulldog was drawn by David in twenty-seven leisurely and dignified seconds. He encourages you to request other Fastest Possible Drawings, as that’s why he’s here today.
