It might have been the shading of the mask or the languorous sprawl of the legs that made the sketch so lengthy, but these details are crucial and (unfortunately) time-consuming; keep this in mind if you are ever challenged to draw the Fastest Possible SCUBA Diver—it will take longer than you think.
As such, while it is obvious that writing “TOO SLOW” made the drawing take even longer, it is a useful warning to those who might undertake to draw it in the future, and had to be said.
